Situated in the sunny Hawkes Bay Lime Country Thoroughbreds is based at the historic Okawa Stud in Hastings, Hawkes Bay. The property is clearly defined into two sections by the Okawa stream; Horses in work on one side and spelling and full time boarding stock on the other. 

Lime Country offers a full range of services from breaking-in and pre-training to broodmare boarding and yearling preparation for clients.

Our fertile paddocks consist of sheltered river flats surrounded by expansive hill country which in recent years have paddocked group winners such as Hong Kong Horse of the Year Ambitious Dragon and Group 1 winner The Party Stand.
